I posted this review on the Yahoo section of this site and thought I'd add it here too - anyway, I joined Yahoo Personals about 3 months ago - I rarely meet new men, so had started thinking I might be single forever if I didn't try and do something about it. I had some negative experiences on Yahoo, including meeting someone who asked me my chest size, whether I would have phone sex with him and whether I would sleep with a woman, in our first conversation! I realized quickly that many people are using the site for superficial reasons - I know there are genuine men using it for sure, but I have no idea how you filter the others to find them. So I joined eHarmony after a month of negative experiences on Yahoo & it's been a much more positive experience - I'm not expecting to find the love of my life quickly here - I've joined because I want to be able to meet new guys, period, because my offline dating is pretty much zero! Anyway, the quality and sincerity of the men I have met is like night and day compared with Yahoo. My aim was to be able to meet good quality guys & eHarmony has definitely provided that for me. Like Nicole, one of the reviewers below, I am a 39 year old professional who is happy, fun, attractive, intelligent - I just don't randomly get to meet as many new guys in my own social settings any more.
