While there ARE loads of quality people on Yayhoo's Personals, I'm going to have to say that it just isn't worth the cash. From what I've seen, they've got one of the highest monthly fees going. The biggest faux-pas (IMHO) that they commit is in not allowing non-paying members to respond to a PAYING member's email. Here, they have paying customers who now honestly think that those of us who have posted profiles (PRIOR, I might add, to being informed that there is a fee for doing anything but skulking in the e-shadows) but not joined. I suppose the theory here is that I (we?) will then want to pay the exhorbitant fee. Sorry. I may be interested, but I'm not putting my credit card out there to be hit ad infinitum by Yahoo!

Well, that's my $.02... but at least I've got it to spend! :)
