The best I can say for Yahoo is that I got a lot of responses to my profile, so I could weed out the creepier bunch. Those who I did meet tended to have lots of personal issues, but I did also meet nice normal people who I am still friends with to this day. So I think Yahoo is fine as long as you keep expectations low and learn to avoid the crazies.
