This is more of a review about customer service with Great Expectations (Mature Singles) than how they function as a dating site. I never signed up since the sales representative hung up on me.
First of all, I had no idea a rep would be calling me. I guess I was supposed to know that since I gave my phone number, but I thought that might be for record purposes only.
When a rep did get through to me, I told her I had changed my mind about signing up. This was not satisfactory. She continued to badger me until I had to be very clear, yet polite. She continued to challenge me and I just told her, "No, I do not want to use your service." Not a word; she hung up. I really prefer to see the facts online - for instance the cost - rather than have to go through a sell job. I was really surprised by how insistent she was and her line of questioning was really kind of a bully job rather than listening to what I might want or not want, nor was she respectful.
