A Review of Great ExpectationsWrite your own review of Great Expectations! Reviewed By: B. Ware Location: Red Flag, USA Sex: Male Rating: ***** Date: July 30, 2009 Thanks to all the folks on here (61 at this writing) who have posted information about GE. Please read past the possible fake reviews from GE employees below. I saw an innocent looking promo on the side of a facebook page that was promoting dating over 40 and dating over 50. I clicked, and ended up giving a few pieces of information, including my cell phone number and a preferance for them to call me in the evening. They called my cell AND my home phone(*I never gave them my home number - 1st red flag) at 11:30 AM the next morning (*2nd red flag - I told them evening). The girl was very nice and wanted to set up an introductory meeting in their office, where I could review their clients and we could discuss a possible membership. She was not too much of a pest, but really wanted me to come in the next evening(*yellow flag - when they're TOO anxious to hook you). I told her I was very busy this week and to call next week. After reading the reviews below, I know she will definitely call. She would not give me stats on how many people were in her database in my city, age group, etc.(*red flag #3). She would not answer any of my very direct questions about package pricing (red#4). I asked how she got my home phone number - she was unable to answer (*#5), and why she didn't call my cell like I wrote on my profile. She said she could not find my cell number on the computer listing (*#6). Reading these reviews, I found red flags #7 through "more than enough". I decided to look up some ratings and found that most people consider the expense too great for a few promises and fewer dates. I thank you all for the information. I'm sorry some of you are out thousands of dollars, but wanted to let you know that at least you are saving others from falling into an unscrupulous trap that preys upon those who are longing for love. |
