OK, I never had an issue with true.com billing and I have been a member for 3 + years off on. I got them to lower the monthly billing just for the chat rooms $9.95 a month not $49.95. The big issue is that true.com checks for background on married and felons. To be quite frank they don't even run background checks on people and screen them. I have seen married and felons on there chatting in the chat rooms. Recently I ran a background check on a member there and not only he is a felon and got the charge reduced to misdemeanor for making terroristic threats and that member got banned for life. As a result true.com got me and another member banned for passing out the background check in private emails to fellow chatters not using their email system. So that person found out that truth was being emailed about him he called true.com and got me and another member banned. Now background checks are public record and there is no law preventing people accessing that information and it cost from $20 to $50. True.com is a joke when it comes to screening people for married and felons. To me that is false marketing scheme to give people that their site is the best place around.

The other bogus claim that true.com proudly makes is they have a 30 million subscribers as active members. If that is the case then why aren't the chat rooms filled up? and most of the rooms are empty. Currently the chat rooms are only allowing 112 chatters per room. The other thing is that true.com is still using Microsoft server 2003 for their website and services. If they had that kind of many users then they have the cash to buy new hardware and migrate to Microsoft 2008R2 server and make the site and chat room more stable. True.com crashes allot and Internet Explorers users that use version 8 can't access the site very well and not compatible with the site.

The really bad thing about true.com is that I have seen kids on there in the chat rooms getting naked and I get outraged and I call true.com and go to the customer care room and report them. As a result the attorney generals office is now investigating true.com. They also have a huge problem with porn spammers that solicit for barely legal teen smut sites and also Ghana scammers whom are men posing as women to Phish for credit cards.

Final thoughts about true.com I have met fellow members in person and gone to the gatherings and made some nice life long friends as a result. Now this is a good thing about true.com and also get to see who you are chatting with on cam.
