A Review of True.comWrite your own review of True.com! Reviewed By: Steve Location: Ohio Sex: Male Rating: ***** Date: January 06, 2010 I have to agree with most people on here. True.com is a scam. Although I have to say one thing for them, I actually did meet my wife on there and didn't have problems with the cancellation myself, but I know there are people that have. I did have problems where people would be sending me messages about messages I had sent them saying I was interested, when I NEVER SENT THEM MYSELF! I also got messages from people that I responded to saying they had never sent me anything. This made me mad. Oh and a forewarning for those that do try the service, don't bother trying to send your real email to anyone through emails. When you do, it gets changed to your screen name @truebeginnings.com. My wife and I discovered this when we were using the trial. The same applies to messages. The only way you will be able to exchange real email addresses is through their chat program. My wife and I met on the 7 day trial and the day before it was up we exchanged emails, hit it off and the rest snowballed so I am proud to say that we scammed the scammers! Overall I highly advise anyone to stay away from this site. I know there was 1 other woman who met her significant other on here, but please note that she and I are extremely rare exceptions for this site. Overall I think E-Harmony really sucks too, but it is honestly the best dating site out there. If you really want to try and make a connection use that one, but I warn you...even with all the dimensions people are still superficial, but ANYTHING is better than True.com! |
