I agree with the other reveiws...PerfectMatch.com does not deserve even one star!
I will go further and say, this site is a money-making scam! After only 2 days on the site, I only had 1-2 members that matched my age, Duet Analysis (their special matching test), were fairly attractive, etc. All the others were either very unattractive, very overweight or out of shape, or lived 50-75 miles away (about a 3 hour commute in LA!)
When I complained to David in customer service, I got the royal runaround and excuses. He said there were plenty of members (all across the nation!) but would not give out any indication of how many men were in my age group within 25 miles of West Los Angeles, one of the largest cities in the nation with some of the most attractive and fit people anywhere. If I can only find 1-2 men within 25 miles of West LA that I would deem fit to email, something is terribly wrong with this service!
I have asked for my $ back and so far David has offered only 1/2 my money back. I have demanded a full refund since I was only on the site 2 days and they are clearly fraudulent in how they advertise and endorse their services and high level of quality members.
Do not use PerfectMatch...ever! They are fraudsters who are out to take your money!!

This is a horrible, horrible website. I wish I did not even have to give it a 1 star. If you are thinking about join, PLEASE DO NOT JOIN PERFECT MATCH!!!. I have wasted money! Unlike eharmony or match.com they ask you what type of person who you would like to date. I get these "perfect" matches that are not perfect to me, and I am not a picky person! I've written to these "perfect" matches and no response. I think these are fake profiles and a B.S. website. Please do not join. I am mad I can not get my money back. I could go on and on about how bad this is, but I am tired of this and a little disappointed it did not work out.

This site got such great press on Oprah, that I figured it would be worth the cash. I've had very good success meeting women on Match.com. The biggest problem with this site, aside from the larger monthly amount of cash necessary to get on it is that it doesn't have enough of a membership base to be worthwhile.
I am a decent looking, very athletic guy, and while I don't expect perfection, I don't need to see that after 5 matches, the rest of the groupset is obese. You can call me shallow, but there are plenty of good looking women out there who give the online thing a shot, however, it's a numbers game. If you have low numbers of members, you'll also have low numbers of attractive women.

Why would I even considering giving Perfectmatch.com a 1 star. As far as I'm concerned, they deserve a -0. I've only received a few matches over a period of several months. Most of the profiles don't have pictures. No one response to emails or ice breakers. The site search engines don't work. When searching in the local area I get profiles from other locations in the country. I keep receiving an email from Perfectmatch of a profile from Georgia. This is a random pick. I really can't say anything positive about this site. And when ask for a refund, they tell you there policy is not to refund you your money. This site is probably managed by some unexperienced web developer want-to-be's, that don't know what they are doing. I hope they go out of business soon. They should be turned over to BBS.

I totally agree with all the negative reviews I've read thus far. I have also sent this statement to the Oprah Winfrey show: Actually my rating for Perfectmatch would be minus stars.
I have some information regarding an "Oprah Winfrey Endorsed" website that I know is important & I didn't see an area to actually submit this information so I'm hoping this will reach the proper people. PerfectMatch.com is an Internet dating service that says their company was endorsed by Oprah Winfrey as being "The Best Internet Dating Sevice"; it was endorsed by Oprah on her television show according to them. The site looks good & legitimate but their site has many glitches & both my brother & myself have had many problems. I've contacted the business office of this company & have asked for a refund twice due to improper service & once was ignored & once turned down. I'm only letting you know this because if in fact this Internet dating site was endorsed by Oprah (which was the only reason I chose this particular site) then it should be looked into. I also feel really bad because before I discovered the ill mannered service of this site, my brother, on my advice, also joined & he has experienced the same problems as I had. I'd appreciate some feed back from you with regards to this email & if anything, what can you or I do to gain a refund for myself & my brother. Thank you. Judy Flahive

Definitely the worst dating site I've used. All the matches I get sent are from miles away, and they never seem appropriate matches. I haven't met anyone off here and have very little expectation that I ever will. It's no surprise that they take your money before you can use the service, otherwise no-one would join.

Zero Stars actually...Absolutely the worst....I have emailed customer service 3 times and have not yet received a reply. What an incredible waste of my money and a blatant disregard for people. Please try any other service but this one.

I wish I read the other reviews before signing up. This is by far the worst matchmaking website. I have tried several and although the concept appears good, once you sign up (NO REFUNDS, by the way), you learn that the search engine is totally unacceptable. Forget Key word searches- They give you profiles of people a 1,000 miles away. There are obviously limited matches in the NY area which is why they don't let you narrow your search. The reason you join these services is to meet someone you can have a relationship with. Not make cross country trips. What a rip off! And when you inquire about improvements they have absolutely no commitment (now there's a funny word) as to when they will upgrade their system. Oh, and the perfect matches they send you (1 a month) is an even bigger joke!!! There are far better options than this site.
Golfmates may not give you a full blown personality description, but at least you can find someone with a similar passion and go from there..... Good luck with your search.

I've been on three different dating websites and Perfectmatch was by far the worst in terms of response. I believe that the profiles may be "real," but they are way outdated (inactive). I sent more than 30 e-mails over a four month period and NEVER received a response. I was also told to "be patient." On a different site, I actually met one of the same men I had written to on perfectmatch (where I'd gotten no response) and he told me that he hasn't been on that site for more than six months. So, it appears they keep profiles that are "inactive" to boost their numbers. Pretty frustrating.
Two of the four "perfect" matches I was sent did respond, but were more 300 and 430 miles away, and we all agreed the distance was too great. The other two matches were between 250 and 300 miles, still too far. I requested matches under 200 miles away.
When I contacted Perfectmatch, they were willing to extend my membership for two additional months, but why would I want that? If I'm writing away and no one ever answers, the point would be???
Thankfully, I am now dating someone that I did meet on match.com (no easy feat anyway) so for now at least, don't have to deal with all this. Good luck. Stay AWAY from Perfectmatch.

This site is a waste of your money. The cost is $99.90. They WILL NOT refund your money. I was on the site for two weeks and did not have one match or message. Singlesnet.com is also a waste of money, but they do offer a free service. OKcupid.com just does not have enough people. But if you must try online dating I recommend Plentoffish.com it’s free and I have found that they are good people on there. They offer an easy search to find what you are looking for and they also offer IMs. I never tried yahoo personals. Anybody have any comments about that one?
